It's been a while since our last post and we have both been off doing various projects over Christmas as performers in our own right. Tom started at Oxford School of Acting and myself and Doug have been involved in a number of projects. I did a devised version of Treasure Island with Lamphouse Theatre and Doug took on a role + created the music for a children's show called 'The Nose That Nobody Picked'. As well as that we have had some fantastic bespoke mentoring from Ruby Glaskin at Derby Theatre. She has her own theatre company Milk and has helped us look at what we hop to do with the future of the show. We are looking to take it back to Edinburgh so a lot of our time has been filling out applications for various venues. We have also decided to take the show for a short run at the Brighton Fringe Festival and had a successful application for both the Sweet Venues and The Warren. We have decided to go with the Warren and will be performing from the 11th -14th May ! Exciting times ahead. We have found that a lot of running a Theatre company is taken up by writing emails- which is fine by us ! We are really excited about what this year will bring and we are looking to take the show into development in April to just inject a little more life into the show and elevate the production value ever so slightly!
